Kingdom Hearts confusion. . .

Well, i decided to look up info on the two games of KH coming out this year that i will want to play. the trailers are so confusing!!!!!!! in one of them, the one for Birth By Sleep, everything is so strange, for example, one point in the game you are the size of the stupid mice in Cinderella and have to fight the cat from the movie. and then there is 358/2 Days, where you play as Roxas. I now know that the 14th member of organization 13 is named Xion, but she is somehow connected to Sora's memories, and can even wield the kingdom key. . . WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! if someone could help clear this cloud of confusion about this mess of KH, it would be much appreciated.
